About Rikaz
Rikaz is an integrated digital platform developed to support the Human Rights Commission in connecting its work and initiatives with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and translating that connection into a clear, structured, and trackable framework. The platform combines a public portal that showcases relevant national efforts and achievements with an internal portal designed to support task management, performance monitoring, and institutional progress.
Rikaz is built on the understanding that sustainable development and human rights are closely interconnected. Rather than simply presenting information, the platform organizes and connects SDGs, indicators, initiatives, legislation, achievements, and relevant references to provide a clearer and more comprehensive view.

To establish Rikaz as an integrated digital reference that strengthens understanding of the relationship between human rights and the Sustainable Development Goals, while enabling the Human Rights Commission to monitor its contributions and performance with greater efficiency, transparency, and sustainability.
Our Mission
To provide a unified platform that brings together national knowledge related to sustainable development and human rights and transforms data, tasks, and initiatives into structured, trackable information that improves access to knowledge, strengthens institutional efficiency, and supports monitoring and decision-making.
What RIKAZ is
The Commission's work — monitoring visits, thematic reports, awareness programmes, legislative reviews and international engagement — is recorded in RIKAZ as it happens. Each piece of work is measured against the Commission's key performance indicators and mapped to the Sustainable Development Goals and human rights standards it contributes to.
What the Commission chooses to publish is then released through this portal. Everything you can read here has been reviewed, approved and published deliberately.
What is published here
The Knowledge Hub holds five kinds of material: initiatives and programmes, national achievements, legislation and policies, reports and publications, and statistics drawn from trusted sources.
Every record names the entity responsible for it and the approved source it came from. Where the Commission has not published something, the portal says so rather than filling the space.
The 17 goals
Each Sustainable Development Goal has its own page: the official goal and its targets, the Saudi context, national indicators, the published material related to it, the human rights standards it connects to, and the Commission's own contribution. Coverage is uneven across the goals, and the pages show that honestly.
Sources and accuracy
Nothing on this portal is generated speculatively. Every published record carries an approved source, and the assistant answers only from what has been published here.
Language
RIKAZ is published in Arabic and English. Where a record exists in only one language, the portal says which.
Privacy
